This bar contains sustainable chocolate crafted at origin by Chocolaterie Robert in Madagascar with just one ingredient... Madagascar cocoa beans. That's it. There is no added sugar of any form to soften the intensity of the taste of pure roasted Grand Cru de Sambirano cocoa. 

This chocolate is not for everyone as it is an intense taste experience, but for no-sugar chocolate purists, it is a delight. 

It is full of rich fruity flavours and has won several chocolaate awards, including the Academy of Chocolate's Golden Bean Award in 2017, for its surprisingly smooth melt, fine texture and long finish.

Our 100% Madagascar Mega Dark chocolate is made for us by Chocolaterie Robert who produce all their chocolate at their factory in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. This chocolate is known as Raisetrade because they produce truly fine, fresh & fair chocolate using freshly dried fine cocoa beans grown in the Sambirano valley region in the north west of Madagascar, so add significantly more value to the local economy than exporting commodity, even fairtrade, dried cocoa beans to be made into chocolate in the west.

This bar is packaged 100% plastic-free, in a recyclable paper pouch inside a recyclable cardboard box.
